it’s been an incredibly long time since i’ve updated or even visited this site. apparently, ipower has been upgrading their servers, which i first noticed when i saw the new (and really crappy) vdeck console. i recently renewed my hosting services, downgrading to a smaller server size and bandwidth. anyway, i’m gonna try to start re-designing each of my three sites, starting with this one. the first step was to upgrade wordpress to version 2.5. i had noticed on james’s blog that he had problems upgrading, as well as a number of other people in the wordpress support forums. i initially had problems, but realized that it was completely my fault. i had a typo in the name of the SQL server, which was an easy fix. too bad it took me 2 hours to figure that out.
